David Solomons is a British author and screenwriter. He is best known for My Brother Is a Superhero, winner of the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize and the British Book Awards Children’s Book of the Year, and for writing stories that trust young readers with big ideas, sharp humour, and the occasional moral dilemma. He has written across children’s fiction, comedy adventure, and television, and still believes books work best when they take the reader seriously and don’t try too hard to be liked.
